SiteVibes Security

As a highly secure SaaS retention and engagement app, the kind of data we collect for clients can vary, but typically includes:

1. Basic Personal Information: This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses. It’s essential to gather this information to personalize communication and rewards.

2. Transactional Data: This involves tracking purchase history, order amounts, frequency of purchases, and items purchased. This data helps in understanding buying patterns and preferences, enabling more targeted rewards and offers.

3. Engagement Data: This includes interactions with your website, app, or marketing communications. Tracking clicks, opens, and engagement times can help tailor the user experience.

4. Preference Data: Information about customers’ preferences, like favorite products or services, can be used to personalize offers and communications.

How does SiteVibes Secure Data?

All of the data is encrypted and stored in databases hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Clients only have access to data stored in their account via SSL authentication. All databases are located on the private subnet in the VPC and do not have public access. The users’ information (personal or public) is encrypted using AWS/KMS.

Furthermore, all data in transit is encrypted via industry-standard HTTPS/TLS (TLS 1.2 or higher) over public networks. The data is then encrypted at rest in AWS using AES-256 key encryption.

Only a select few people have access to the database and the KMS for maintenance purposes.
